12 Aug:
Went over to manfred's house to slack around before meeting gawin n jasmine for ice skating at fuji ice palace... next time wanna go ice skating should go in grps of 4... cos its much cheaper and u get unlimited hours of skating...

After ice skating, the four of us went to fei cui la mian xiao long bao at suntec to have dinner... totally famished!!! our stomachs filled, we went to catch a little of the WCG action at the exhibition hall... i totally can't catch all the action that was going on in the DOTA game, but i could see the fascination of the game... it really takes skills, planning, and cooperatino between team mates to really play out the other teams. At ard 8.30, we headed for the esplanade to catch fireworks.... it was explosive n me n man took quite alot of videos.... nubbad la... must be much better den ndp fireworks... hahah... when the fireworks show ended, everyone just started moving off... and it was damn horrible cos there were jus too many ppl trying to squeeze through narrow walkways and the scene was suffocating lor.... squeeze until i totally sian....... but nonetheless i still enjoyed the fireworks a lot....

13 Aug:

played mj with mok, pl, shahri n baobei... zzzzzzzzzzz

at first won a lot of money with my qing yi se.... alas!!!! zzzz lost until i made a profit of only $2.80... but still nubbad considering i haven't played mj for a long time. after mj we had zhi char at the pasir ris pond.... was famished again n ya... the food was satisfying.... :)

sch has officially started as of 14 Aug 2006 and my very first lecture in LT 8, SW1101E lecture 1... super slack la.... which is to be expected as it was only an introductory lecture... started abt 10mins late n ended 20 mins early with a 5 mins break in between... haha.... nubbad lor.... my travelling time took longer than the lecture... oh well...

31st july.... boring lor...went to nus to matriculate alone... after tt ended up at the matric fair with a lot of bags of rubbish... the discount vouchers cheate ppl de lor... expires on 31 july...

1 aug... went back to nus for talks... conclusion... modules system sucks... so complicated... but wat to do???

2 aug... BIG DAY!!!! happY 4Th mONtH deAR!!! so happy to have come such a "long" way... a lot of things happened along the way but all of them served to bring me n manfred bao bei closer... LU!!! ayyy but hor... early in the morning had to go back to nus for more talks... zzz after tt sneaked back into the matric fair to buy my laptop... acer travelmate 3012WTMi... zzzz made in china... oh well... jus hope it doesn't break down so often lor... actually its not bad lar... small n light... had lunch at nus den went to party world.... bloody bloodsuckers lor... $33 lar... idiot... wTH... after tt went to curry favour as highly rec by mok n pl.. realli quite nice la the curry... but the rice too wet, eat too much will feel siann...aniways/.... happy 4 th month!!!! hahahhahahahah

Today off we go to tour Hong Kong island... at the ferry terminal...

On the ferry towards hong kong island...
we came to this little cafe which we found in our guide book... can't remember the name la... n ya... we had bo luo you n egg tarts n milk tea... their snacks r too sweet for my liking...
on a tram.. which is quite an old form of public transport... nubbad la... oh... another setback in this trip.... we walk abt 1/10 of HK island lor!!! trying to find this stupid THE PEAK TRAM... to take the tram up to the peak...

the ride was an uphill climb... for the tram la... haha... really v steep climb lor.... its like ur on the uphill part of roller coaster... the view at the peak was really nice... but sadly, there was some construction work going on that blocked the full view/ spoilt the view lor... but nonetheless, w eenjoyed ourselves snapping shots of HK...

back at kowloon, we had choc tun nai at niu nai gong si.... TIRED LIAO LOR!!!... really walked alot alot alot... first time i walked so much on an overseas trip in a city!!!
