Hong Kong Day 2

Today off we go to tour Hong Kong island... at the ferry terminal...

On the ferry towards hong kong island...
we came to this little cafe which we found in our guide book... can't remember the name la... n ya... we had bo luo you n egg tarts n milk tea... their snacks r too sweet for my liking...
on a tram.. which is quite an old form of public transport... nubbad la... oh... another setback in this trip.... we walk abt 1/10 of HK island lor!!! trying to find this stupid THE PEAK TRAM... to take the tram up to the peak...

the ride was an uphill climb... for the tram la... haha... really v steep climb lor.... its like ur on the uphill part of roller coaster... the view at the peak was really nice... but sadly, there was some construction work going on that blocked the full view/ spoilt the view lor... but nonetheless, w eenjoyed ourselves snapping shots of HK...

sun set.... really beautiful n romantic...
back at kowloon, we had choc tun nai at niu nai gong si.... TIRED LIAO LOR!!!... really walked alot alot alot... first time i walked so much on an overseas trip in a city!!!

Hong Kong Day 1

At 3.30 am in the morning, i was already up n preparing to set off for the airport with Evelyn n Simin who stayed over at my house. ZZZZZZ the flight was so early lor... 6.40am... which is jus as well, cos it means we'll reach HK earlier. Ah~~~ but sian leh! this HK trip was quite bu shun li...from HK airport to our hotel(Dorsett Seaview) at Ma Yau Tei, we took a cab... which was a horrifyingly expensive choice of 400HKD... say liao i also paiseh... chop cabbage head lor!!! but bo bian la... we're noobs... hahah.... din do anough predeparture homework.
our first meal in HK... at MIDO cafe... supposedly quite famous la... got the nolstalgic air abt that place... but the utensils were rather dirty... my macaroni was not bad la... but seriously, i think i also can cook it.
legend's oyster sauce noodle... machiam feeding pigs one lor the portion!!! the noodles had a very strong chemical/preservative smell, and with no ingredients other den the cabbages, this is definitely not worth trying. but of course, milk tea is always fool proof.
at mido cafe...quite cosy lor...
Chan Foon met us in our hotel before taking us around the popular streets of Mongkok n Tsim Sa Tsui. HK is freaking hot!!! i was wearing jeans n walking along the streets of mongkok, i really wanted to take them off lor!!! xu liu shan, a drink stall was all over the place n their mango ice is nice! got jelly and mango cubes inside... a nice relief from the heat la... we went to this new city shopping centre at mongkok... high lor~ a lot of shops... haha... tts y no pics of tt place... oops
Ladies street was DISAPPOINTING... look what they're selling lor... corny undergarments... the entire street was selling trinkets, really-not-worth-buying clothes, fake LVs, GUCCI etc...
but i must admit, this wall of bags looked quite seh... hahaha...
our loot for the day!!! grrrr milly.... just had to spread her newly bought undies out...
